Settings quote:
I use my Kenwood TM-V71A on several NBEMS nets on repeaters here and it works great. I'm using a SignaLink USB with a cable I purchased from Tigertronics. The cable connector has a 6 pin din plug which connects to the 6 pin din connector on the back of the radio. The radio menu settings are 517 A, 518 1200, 519 9600, and 520 SQL. This means that the VFO A is used for data so the frequency on the A side is set to the repeater your using. You can then use VFO B for voice and leave that as the active VFO. Data will always go out on VFO A. The 1200 baud setting is the audio sensitivity. 1200 baud setting works best for the Fldigi modes.
